This is my updated Dorugoramon deck. I wanted to lean a little more into the Dex half of the deck so I was doing a lot of testing for it. I wanted to run the new DeathX with Apostle of Doom Descends as a way of crushing a wide board and keeping a much more difficult to deal with board state. Once you see one DeathX you are set for the match. This is what I settled on. I am running less Dorugoramon than before but that's to make room for another DexDorugoramon which works extremely well in the deck. I am running two Eiji for alliance and as an extra purple source to make sure that my Apostle of Doom Descends can be played. I thought of running Ryusenji in the deck but decided against it after testing him out. He did win me a few games but most of the time he was a little underwhelming. Honestly what this deck needs is a dual Kosuke and Marvin tamer. If we are lucky we get a triple tamer with Kosuke, Marvin, and Eiji. Black and Purple tamer. It can be used for the Mind Link of Airdramon and Dorumon. Honestly it might replace a few copies of the current Kosuke. It would certainly replace the current Eiji or Marvin's though. As for my thoughts on the new Promo Dorugoramon... It's an amazing card but it isn't necessary for the deck to be good. Dorugoramon already inflicts heavy damage while controlling the board and the extra two checks you get from the new Promo isn't worth not having access to the board control effect which is more useful more often. There is also the debate on running the old DeathX but since I don't have that card I am running the new one. That thing is really hard to remove. There is even an argument to not run a DeathX at all. But right now I am trying to break this deck wide open even after all this time.
