Deck Primer

This is my updated Shinegreymon deck.  The new support is really strong and helps accelerate the deck to achieving its win conditions.  I was gonna run the yellow base but I decided to stick with the Red Base.  This is because of the Agumon X existing.  I swapped around my Rookie Ratios to include it but it makes the deck far more consistent and is a very strong card overall.  It's a Dinosaur trait too so it is a valid target for the reduced Digivolution cost on the GeoGreymon.

I made further adjustments to my build.  I removed the new Marcus to make room for one more of the memory setter Marcus and the Blocker Marcus.  They do more for the types of combos I tend to use for the deck so I focused more on them.  I also removed the Burst Mode Ace.  Sure the Ace is nice but during my matches I noticed that every time I went into a Shinegreymon my opponent was on the brink of defeat so I decided to not run it.  The deck doesn't need it.  I also decided to run one more copy of the new Shinegreymon.  That card is amazing and it really helps the deck function even better.  It is worse than the BT 12 Shinegreymon when it comes to dealing damage and clearing large boards but it is better at clearing stronger bodies off the field.  It can also make use of the suspension effects of your Marcus's even of you cannot turn them into a Digimon.  It also works a little smoother with the Burst Mode as you can attack with that Shinegreymon first suspending down a Marcus to gain Security Attack+1 and then go into a Burst Mode mid attack using the effect of the BT 12 Marcus.  That will in turn let you play out another Marcus from hand and give it rush.  That's three checks on a total of 18K power with a Marcus with Rush that trashes a security on attack and can even give you other benefits depending on which one it is.  I have had some of the most incredible matches I have ever had in the Digimon TCG using Shinegreymon so far.  It's not even the completed build and it does so well.  I survived against a full powered Fenriloogamon OTK turn twice in a row in one match.  And a Takemikazuchi Ace on top of that.  The deck still proceeded to not only survive that but won the very next turn.  That just shows how strong Shinegreymon can be.  It's a very fast and aggressive deck with control tools.  There is even a debate to be made for the red base which runs Agumon X instead of the trainings.  This is because the Agumon X has a Dinosaur trait and can search your deck for your combo pieces at the same time as drawing a card.  I've been playing the red base for now because I didn't pull four of the yellow egg at my locals.  Nobody else pulled any so I have to wait.  I've been making due with an incomplete list and it is shocking how effective it really is.
