Bugs list Updatet for EX8 Testing
12.02.25:
Added Nature Spirits (EX8-069) for testing and MegaKabuterimon (EX8-042) to better use the permanent alliance effect.
06.01.25:
The Otamamon (EX7-015) was a bit too ambitious, I got stuck on my lvl 4s way too often because BladeKuwagamon (BT16-042) can´t digivolve on Blue, so I swapped in Lopmon (ST17-03) again.
29.12.24:
Last Update of the year so I will format it differently:

Last Update of the year so I will format it differently:
Yesterdays Local was a huge win for bugs with the only real loss against Beelstarmon as Bugs is weak to heavy option card use and I had to forfeit against bloomlord as I had to go.
As the local yesterday was the last SB2.0 Tournament we have was it not possible to test the NSp deck choices but I still think it is at least viable if not the way forward for the Deck.
In the coming Weeks the next few tests are the functionality of Tentomon (EX8-039) as a searcher replacement for KoKabuterimon (BT16-037) and Monochromon (EX7-033)
Monochromon (EX7-033) is a new addition replacing Stingmon (BT3-050) It was hard Pressuring my Opponent after controling the Board because the most checks I could do were one, admittedly it was the trashing ESS from MegaKabuterimon (P-140) so it was more then safe but taking 2-3 rounds of single checks is to risky and slow, Piercing as an ESS is the next logical move in combination with MegaKabuterimon (P-140) ESS its 2 checks and without it atleast allows me to clear the Board while still pressuring my opponent.
Also in consideration was Kuwagamon (X Antibody) (BT9-049) which is an Insectoid but Digivolves for 2 instead of one and thanks to Tentomon (EX8-039) I can leverage some NSp Digimon as long as they can digivolve from green. Sadly there is the problem of MegaKabuterimon (P-140) who digivolves for 4 from anything green or blue not Insectoid negating the cheap digivolution cost of Monochromon (EX7-033) but we will cross that bridge when we get there.
the next NSp Tech that is playable because of the Nsp lvl 4s in Deck ist Otamamon (EX7-015) this Floodgate should help in the future with Digixros plays, in the mirror matchup and spiting the only beelstarmon player we have at locals.
19.12.24:
After some more Sim Testing I updatet the Ratios.
Removed:
- KoKabuterimon (BT16-037)
- I need more time with Tentomon as he seems to be the better searcher
Added:
- Lopmon (ST17-03)
- Alliance = fnuy
14.12.24:
- Added:
- Green Scramble (LM-030)
- Scramble Good especially if all Tyrants are in Trash
- Green Scramble (LM-030)
- Removed:
- HerculesKabuterimon (EX8-044)
- ACE Cards to Good
- HerculesKabuterimon (EX8-044)
- Ratios:
- Shivamon (LM-024)
- -1 for Deckspace
- Tentomon (EX8-039)
- +1 Potential double hit Gamba
- KoKabuterimon (BT16-037)
- -1 Space for Tentomon (EX8-039)
- Shivamon (LM-024)
12.12.24:
- Added:
- HerculesKabuterimon (EX8-044)
- Piercing and +3000 EoT is a good turn finisher but I am not happy with so ACE cards in my Top end
- Candidates for these 2 spots are AncientBeetlemon (BT18-072) and HerculesKabuterimon (BT15-053)
- Also Potential Double Hit for Tentomon (EX8-039)
- Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode (BT17-077)
- Good Board reset against purple decks, also good game ender
- Good Board reset against purple decks, also good game ender
- HerculesKabuterimon (EX8-044)
- Removed:
- GranKuwagamon (BT16-046)
- Tamer Hate is always usefull especially in this Meta but it doesn´t synergize that well with Tyrants EoT
- GranKuwagamon (BT16-046)
11.12.24:
- Added:
- Finally Shivamon (LM-024)
- for safer Tyrant Combo
- Tentomon (EX8-039)
- more search and +2000 DP
- Kabuterimon (EX8-040)
- Cheap replacement for Promo Kuwagamon
- Finally Shivamon (LM-024)
- Removed:
- Pteromon (P-131)
- Not in archetype so it was ejected for Tentomon (EX8-039)
- Galemon (ST18-08)
- same reason as Pteromon (P-131)
- Kunemon (BT14-042)
- Kunemon was able to search all green cards, giving it the edge over KoKabuterimon (BT16-037) when playing cards out of Archetype but this is not needed anymore after EX8
- Pteromon (P-131)
