So, I worked on a deckbuild the past week after not doing so well at my locals, especially with a deck that I was planning to take to Regionals. After getting beat pretty mercilessly, I knew that I wasn't going to last if I couldn't handle the current Meta even at my locals. So, I decided to go back to the drawing board and try a different approach, of which I found a D-Brigade deckbuild that was pretty interesting. Once I tried the build in a couple of games and got the feel for it, I made what I thought would be necessary changes to make it more imposing in a competitive setting. Yesterday, I participated in Regionals, of which I may not have gotten 1st, but I did land in the Top 8. Not going to lie, but I was pretty happy with that. The deck did quite well given the situations I had to play against, and just to prove a point, I did go up against a Magnamon X Armor Build and was able to win 2 - 0 in that Round. My only downfall was going against a Virus Imperialdramon build which I hadn't had enough experience going against so I misplayed where it counted, but if given the chance, I think I now know how to deal with it. Regardless, I feel like I did well being my first time playing in Regionals, and I hope to participate again soon. Hope people have fun with this.
